Good response for Manashakti’s Prenatal Workshop, organised by Pachora Municipal Council!
(53 pregnant couples participated!)
Held for the first time in the rural region of Pachora (Dist. Jalgaon), Manashakti’s Prenatal Workshop gathered huge response from the villagers! 53 pregnant couples participated in the workshop, held in the auspicious presence of Mr. Bapusaheb Sonar (President, Pachora Municipal Council), Pandit Tatya Shinde (Ex-President) and Mr. Bhavesh Joshi (Project Officer). Mr. Bhavesh Joshi took special efforts to gather pregnant couples. Held between 10 am and 4 pm at Ahir Suvarnakar Mangal Karyalay, the workshop was jointly organised by Pachora Municipal Council and Manashakti centre. Also, Pachora Municipal Council is the first such council to organise prenatal workshop. On this occasion, Mr. Gajanan Kelkar (Trustee & Research Director, Manashakti) presented Manashakti’s ‘Prenatal Kit’ to the municpal council.

Participants commented that, fear & anxiety of pregnancy & delivery was reduced.

President expressed his wish to conduct Manashakti’s activities regarding students, youths and adults too.
Mr. Bapusaheb Sonar (President) attended the complete workshop. While concluding the workshop he remarked that, “We have decided to conduct this workshop here at Pachora, regularly!” Ex-President Mr. Shinde said that, “Todays children are intelligent, though they lack in good values. Its very important to convince the rural people that, these values can be imparted before birth too. Infact every municipal council should conduct this prenatal workshop under government’s ‘Women Empowerment’ schemes.” Before the Closing Ceremony, few villagers came to the dias and expressed their comments about the workshop. One such comment was - “We really din’t knew that, Samskaras (good values) can be imparted before birth too. Also we learned so many things like, especially husband should keep a good rapport with wife; try to understand her; avoid the use of force to have a child; he should give her love, comfort etc. We are definitely going to provide these prenatal Samskaras and we certainly hope to have good children, due to it!”
Manashakti’s Prenatal Workshop is being consistently conducted in cities and towns. Now it has been commenced at the grass-root level i.e. very small towns and that too with the initiative of municipal council, which is certainly commendable!

Workshop on Meditation for Stress-relief
Manashakti's popular "Workshop on Meditation for Stress-relief", will be organised in Pune on a grand scale on Sunday, 2nd September 2007, between 1 pm and 7 pm, in the famous Nu. Ma. Vi. (Primary Section), 545, Shaniwar Peth, Appa Balwant Chowk, Pune - 411 002. (Entrance from gate opposite Prabhat Talkies). The charges are Rs. 150/- per person. Seats limited. Enrolment necessary.
The ‘Workshop on Meditation for Stress-relief’ will be held by Manashakti Research Centre, Lonavala, in coordination with the Manashakti Pune Centre. The important topics covered in ‘Why and how to meditate?' are: Group-meditation, Individual guidance regarding meditation etc. There will also be an exhibition of books on meditation.

Manashakti's "Garbha-Sanskar Workshop" in Pune

Manashakti's hugely popular "Garbha-Sanskar Workshop", will be organised in Pune on a grand scale on Sunday, 5th August 2007, between 2 pm and 7 pm, in the famous S. M. Joshi Sabhagriha (Navi Peth). The event will be inaugurated at the auspicious hands of Shri Chandrashekhar Hari Joshi (Trustee, Dr. Nanasaheb Parulekar Sakal Charity Trust).
Latest scientific evidences regarding how the fetus learns, memorizes, etc., Videos and animations about the develpment of fetus; Experiment of imparting Sanskar (good values) to the fetus; Prayer, Concentration, Music, Yogasanas, Diet, Reading etc., remedies to be practised during pregnency are some of the charecteristic features of this workshop. This workshop is meant only for pregnant couples, in any month of pregnancy (Language - Marathi). The charges are Rs. 250/- per couple. Seats limited. Enrolment necessary.

State of Oklahoma confers “Honorary Citizenship” on Manashakti Sadhakas
The Governor of State of Oklahoma, Brad Henry conferred the “Honorary Citizenship” on Manashakti Research Centre’s Sadhakas, who were on a propagation tour of Manashakti in America, in the month of March 2007! He bestowed the citizenship by presenting a ‘Certificate’ to each of the Sadhakas! In a way, it was a great honour of Manashakti’s work, by the Governor of State of Oklahoma!
