Inaguration of ‘Manashakti’s DADAR CENTRE!
The day “21st February’’ carries a special significance in the history of Manashakti Research Center. On this day, Swami Vijnananand, the first thinker and experimenter of Manashakti, took Sanyas (renunciation) i.e. sacrifice for the cause of society. Hence, the recent inauguration of Manashakti’s Dadar Centre on this day is indeed a very fine coincidence!
For meeting the need of ever-growing activities Manashakti, commencing ‘Local Centers’ is quite necessary. Hence, during recent years, local centres have come up at Pune, Thane, etc. New centers are being planned at Dombivali, Borivali, and Nashik. Since Dadar is a central place joining the Central and Western areas of Mumbai, Manashakti’s Dadar Center is likely to be utilized on a large scale. It can mainly be useful for providing information about the nature & activities of Manashakti Centre; registration for camps, study-courses, tests, workshops etc. and for the sale of Manashakti’s literature. Additionally, programmes like short-meetings, monthly Yajna Pooja etc. can also be conducted there.
On Saturday, 21st February, 2009, between 2 and 5 p.m., Yajna Pooja was performed in this new Center. Manashakti’s senior Sadhaka Mrs. Manisha Purohit conducted the religious rites. About 50 to 55 Sadhakas of Dadar as well as those from nearby centres like Girgaum, Borivali, Thane participated. Shri. Gajanan Kelkar and Shri. Pramod Shinde specially came down from the Lonavla’s main centre for the Inauguration.
