Manashakti at BMM, Philadelphia
Manashakti’s books, CDs were well received by the participants of the BMM (Brihan Maharashtra Mandal) Convention held recently in Philadelphia, US. Thousands of Indians staying mainly in US and Canada visited the bookstall. Celebrities like Uddhav Thackeray, Sanjay Raut, Shankar Abhyankar, Shreeniwas Thanedar, Dr Anil Nerurkar, Prabhudesai (Director, Pitambari) appreciated and purchased the books. Pramodbhai Shinde, Trustee of Manashakti visited US to represent Manashakti in the Convention. Marathi people in US expressed their pleasure of being able to avail of the books, CDs and other experimental material of Manashakti right there. On this occasion sadhaks (members) of Manashakti had assembled from different parts of US and Canada.
After the Convention, Pramodbhai conducted meetings in Columbus, Washington D.C., Atlanta, New Jersey and New York. Local members of Manashakti had organized these meetings. Manashakti’s research and philosophy was communicated to the students, youth and parents (about 1700). Such meetings are going to take place in future across the US. The books and CDs are available with the local members of Manashakti.
The next BMM Convention is going to be held in Chicago in 2011. Local members of Manashakti expressed their desire to participate in it.

Manashakti conducts program for Army Jawans in Jammu & Kashmir
Manashakti organized a course comprising of lectures with solutions to various problems for Armed forces jawans in Jammu & Kashmir, during 24th June to 2nd July 2009. Officers of Armed forces, jawans & their family members participated in the course. Col. Deepak Thonge had contacted Manashakti & had suggested for organizing a course with lectures & guidance to jawans; and accordingly, the course was organized by Manashakti.
Deliberations touching subjects such as Brain Revolution, Intelligence Development, Child Development & Problem, Family Welfare & Stress Relief were arranged. Solutions in view of stress on jawans, their mental stress & other difficulties were discussed. Daily meditation sessions for jawans were also organized. All the participants were happy about the course-lectures & contents. A number of jawans expressed their willingness to put into practice the solutions; and also indicated their wish not only to visit Manashakti Research Centre, but to participate in various study seminars also.
Manashakti books & prayer aids were distributed as a gift to the officers & jawans.

Cognizance of Swine Flu!
A lot of people visit the famous Manashakti Research Center at Lonavla for participating in various activities. However presently, the pandemic of the contagious disease ‘swine flu’ is spreading rapidly in India. The number of swine flu affected patients are increasing rapidly especially in Pune & Mumbai areas.
As per latest information, swine flu cases have been detected in Lonavla too.
If not treated properly & timely, swine flu could turn out to be fatal. Government is creating awareness about this, and has suggested avoiding gathering of people at public places. Considering this and for the well-being (health) of all, the following Manashakti programs upto 22nd August 2009 at Lonavla and in Mumbai & Pune areas have been postponed. Revised dates for these programs would be announced later on. Also, please avoid coming to Lonavla area for the time being.

Manashakti’s “Book Exhibition”
at BMM Convention in America
The much-awaited Brihan Maharashtra Mandal’s (BMM) 14th Convention has commenced from 2nd July upto 5th July 09 at Philadelphia, America. Manashakti’s “Book Exihibition” is displayed in it. Revered Swami Vijnananand’s literature on study success, memory, peace of mind, value education, brain revolution etc. meant for children, youth & adults will be presented therein. Manashakti’s English & Marathi audio-video CDs & DVDs about prenatal education, meditation, prayer, concentration etc. are a special attraction in it. In addition, an audio-visual presentation will also be given.
Along with the various entertainment programs in the convention, information on important topics like concentration techniques for students, tension-free success for adults, creative ideas for parents for the child’s overall progress will be imparted by Manashakti’s Sadhakas, in this exhibition.
