In Moshi near Pune, every year, a national level "Farmers - Agriculture Exhibition” is organized in December. Farmers engaged in experiments in farming and other related-field persons visit the exhibition in large nunber. In this exhibition which was held during 14th to 18th Dec. 11; about 4,035 farmers and other inquisitive persons visited Manashakti Stall and were apprised of the novel “Plant Experiments” designed by Manashakti. Manashakti seekers who are farmers also and residing in around Chakan and Moshi explained the Plant experiment to the visitors!

Swami Vijnananand (Founder, Manashakti) has said that “If we convince the plants - which supply us with nutrients - by good thoughts, they will co-operate us with love. For this it is necessary to pray for the plants.” It has been observed in the Plant Experiments carried out by Manashakti, that yield for plants for which prayer was recited was 15 to 18 % higher than for the plants without prayer! Food prepared from such prayer cultured plants may turn out to be more healthy for us.

Plant experiments carried out at Chakan in 1977, publicly in association with National Chemicals and Fertilizers had demonstrated excellent success! This news had appeared in Trombay farming magazine. Presently, these plant experiments are being carried out in the fields of 5 farmers from Chakan. The grains and vegetables earmarked for this experiment consist of Wheat, Maize, Jowar (Millet), Valvad, Zhendu; and Kothimbir and Methi. The results of the experiment would be declared in due course of time. But to propagate the information of these unique Plant Experiment to all farmers, a stall was erected in the “Farmers-Agriculture Exhibition”. Audio-visual information about Chakan experiment was being given at the stall. Seekers-farmers of Manashakti were present to share their experiences with other farmers. This led to the visit of 7 inquisitive farmers to Chakan to witness the plant experiments! Having seen the extra growth of prayer-offered plants as compared to other plants, they expressed their satisfaction! They also resolved to remain in contact with each other, and also, to participate in the plant experiment at their farms. Apart from this, 7 National Prize awardees (farmers from Meghalay, Karnatak, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Madhya Prdesh and Sikkim) visited main Reseach centre at Lonavla!
