500 youths participate in 'I' for Ideas event!

This year's 31st December program was based on the theme - 'I' for Ideas This is the 8th year of this event. Around 500 youngsters from all over Maharashtra participated in this highly inspiring event, held at the scenic Manashanti Ashram premises at Lonavla. Manashakti's 100 youth sadhakas organized & presented this program.

The energetic Game Show began at 7 pm. The participants enthusiastically participated in the games.

Post-dinner, began the grand Stage Show which was presented by 100 young seekers of Manashakti Research Centre. Under this theme various subjects and concepts were presented in front of youngsters by the means of skits like

• Absurd and impossible ideas do become a reality;
• Failure is the source of energy of ideas as well as success;
• Struggle of Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar to obtain patent for turmeric powder;
• Steps to turn an idea into reality; and
• Idea to change the society is to change oneself first and foremost.

Dance, drama, human pyramids, messages from honourable personalities made the program entertaining as well as educative. (See photos here.)

The messages were from the reknowned personalities like Magsaysay award winner Neelima Mishra, Indian shooter Tejaswini Sawant, International advisor Mr. Sundip Waslekar, young innovator Miss. Ankita Nagarkar.

At the stroke of 12.00 pm, while welcoming the new year, a Pledge for the welfare of iindividual and the nation was taken by the assembled younsters.

The power of imagination and its ability to help anyone reach success was practically demonstrated with the help of some videos of innovations at work.

The program was truly liked by the paritcipants and this was expressed by them through their reactions taken onstage as well as in writing along with this they also expressed their desire to again expaerience this event next year.

PLEDGE
Today we determine that -

• We will do constructive work by utilizing the power of imagination!
• By keeping a positive attitude, we'll defeat depression.
• We will overcome the fear of failure and strive for noble work!
• Without letting negativity & insult penetrate us, we resolve to work with determination! We will overcome ego and false pride; and will behave politely!
• Respect elders, co-operate with colleagues and strive for progress with younger ones!
• Won't feel pleasure in Falsehood, Addiction!
• Won't have pretence of good behavior and keep transperency in the personality!
• Yearn for excellence and strive for it by hard work!
• Along with oneself work for the progress of nation as a whole!
• Without the progress of ordinary boor people the progress of society won't be achieved!

Our well-being is present in the well-being of society! O motherland, give success to our determinations!!
