Child Development should be supplemented with Good Values!

Manashakti's Brain Revolution Workshop was conducted on 2nd Dec. 11, for parents of Primary School students at Deonar, Mumbai. Because of the financial assistance of local Rotary Club, 50 parents from slum area could participate in this program. Teachers from the concerned school had also persuaded the parents to participate. To enable the parents to inculcate good values in their children of age group 1-7 years, guidance was given regarding the capacity of the children, the exact nature of good values, and how the good values (sanskars) can be infused in the children. For the inauguration of the program, Head Master of the school and the President of the Rotary Club were also present.

Every new generation is intelligent and gifted with developed brain. Children of 1-7 years age are endowed with phenomenal capacity and power, and they learn by observation. Hence it is very essential for the parents to be vigilant and attentive about the development of their child. The qualities and virtues which you desire to be present in your ward, must be acquired by you first! Parents should pray every day, do Jyoti Prarthana, concentrate and read good ethical books to inculcate good values in the minds of their children.

Intelligence development and mental development should take place concurrently. Your child is also a constituent of the society. Hence it is your duty to develop it properly. This thought was impressed upon the minds of the parents before the conclusion of the program.
